“As a master architect, I took part in various A+ building design and architecture projects such as hotels, residences, offices, restaurants and stores that varied over the course of 14 years.

Tabanlıoglu Architects; has been a school and family where I saw my vocation for it’s true meaning, taking part in many domestic/international, compact/large projects within which I got to experience team spirit and architectural design processes and where I felt like a crucial and an indispensable part of the team even as a “junior architect”.

Toner Architects; has been a place where I worked for 6.5 years and where I improved myself every year in the path of becoming a “senior architect”, and was arguably the most important place that got me where I am right now in my professional life. Here, I had the chance to direct the entire design, implementation and delivery processes of many A+ projects you will see below, hand to hand directly with the customers from scratch to very end. Transcending architecture, I got to experience spatial design, illumination design, furniture design, all the way to the smaller scale and more detail-oriented projects which included the choice of fabric and colors.

As I was working as a “design partner” in Beytist, a start-up model where we managed to deliver a record setting 13 residential projects within a single year, my path has crossed with Beymen’s.

In Beymen, I have completed an unbelievably labor-intense 3 years within which I have learned almost everything about retail store design.

Nowadays, I am trying to draw my own path in Arcitone, which I built with my brother Ar. Emre Akçakaya.”
